– How to get there from Bangkok .
please visit Tourist Authority of Thailand website. (TAT) for more comprehensive information on travel in Thailand.

alternatively grab their free booklets from the suvarnabhumi airports. TAT has a small office there located at ground floor if am not mistaken.

take public bus 551 from the airport direct to victory monument
( Thai: Anusawari Chai Samoraphum ).

take a public minivan to Ayutthaya to beat the madness traffic in Bangkok which located below the the BTS station. the van will stop in the town center travel take about 1.20hrs .

Tour around Ayutthaya you have several options ,hired their frog face cute tuk-tuk hourly.Thais called “Tuk Tuk na kobor” .

alternatively rent a bicycle – Eco friendly freak or neither less to say walking is still the cheapest but keep mind the weather hot, humid and a bit dusty.

Hired a bike is my best option as is free flow to see the city of ruins temples without any miscommunication from the tuk-tuk drivers.

the night scene is amazing with the external floodlights with metal halide lamp with warm white colour accentuate the ruins temples rough textures.

If you’re a photographic buff, this is a good time to take some great photos! at night but Ayutthaya night life is basically quite and peaceful.
